The headline or title of your post is the most vital piece of the blog since it attracts and persuades people to read it. If the headline doesn't do that critical job, the whole post is essentially worthless.
A lot of thought goes into writing a powerful headline; and to start with, you might want to use the ‘KISS’ (Keep it Short and Simple) formula.

Choosing images for your blog shouldn't be an afterthought, as a cheap-looking or immaterial photo can possibly undermine your content.
As a rule, I've found that images of renowned and influential people by and large perform well, because it’s the easiest for readers to relate to. What emotion would you like to trigger through your blog post? Ensure this emotion is communicated or evoked through your photo.

I'm not saying your posts should be controversial, but instead, that each post should have one clear angle, attitude, or point of view.
